Distinguished Professor Hsu-Yang Kung

Dr. Hsu-Yang Kung received his BS degree from Tatung University, MS degree from National Tsing-Hwa University, PhD degree from National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan, all in computer science and information engineering.

He is currently a Distinguished Professor of Department of Management Information Systems, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. Prof. Kung has been serviced as the Dean of College of Management, Chairman of Dept. of MIS, Director of Electronic Commerce Research Center, and Director of Computer Center.

Prof. Kung served a Guest Associate Editor of IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems (SCIE) and Guest Editor of Agronomy (SCIE), Mathematical Problems in Engineering (SCIE), International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing (SCIE), Mobile Information Systems (SCIE), IEEE Technology and Engineering Education, Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, International Journal of Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, IEEE MEEM, and Advances in Multimedia.

His research interests include IoT middleware, intelligent agriculture systems, cloud computing, telematics systems, wireless and mobile communications, embedded multimedia applications, and information management systems.
