Distinguished Professor Hsu-Yang Kung



Introduction



  Dr. Hsu-Yang Kung received his BS degree from Tatung University, MS degree from National Tsing-Hwa University, PhD degree from National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan, all in computer science and information engineering.

  He is currently a Distinguished Professor of Department of Management Information Systems, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. Prof. Kung has been serviced as the Dean of College of Management, Chairman of Dept. of MIS, Director of Electronic Commerce Research Center, and Director of Computer Center.

  Prof. Kung published more than 310 academic papers and obtained 17 the best paper awards. Prof. Kung dominated more than 130 industrial and academic research projects and owned 27 patens. Prof. Kung received the distinguished research awards 11 times and the Excellent Research Group Awards 8 times from Ministry of Science and Technology. He obtained the Outstanding Performance and Special Contributor from Ministry of Education at 2019. Prof. Kung obtained the Outstanding Contribution Distinguished Professor Awards of NPUST at 2020 and 2021

  Prof. Kung served a Guest Associate Editor of IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems (SCIE) and Guest Editor of Agronomy (SCIE), Mathematical Problems in Engineering (SCIE), International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing (SCIE), Mobile Information Systems (SCIE), IEEE Technology and Engineering Education, Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, International Journal of Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, IEEE MEEM, and Advances in Multimedia

  His research interests include IoT middleware, intelligent agriculture systems, cloud computing, telematics systems, wireless and mobile communications, embedded multimedia applications, and information management systems.
